I call this pattern, Roll the Dice! I first thought about calling it Tumbling Dice but that was taken decades ago when I was in :::cough::: high school.
I designed this pattern on a computer, to be laser cut locally for exquisite precision. I then handstitched it on white textured cardstock, using variegated pink polyster thread. The other thread colors are grey and black, a combo I find myself using more & more lately. I use a tiny #20 “quilting between” needle to ensure the tiny stitching holes remain nearly invisible.
Diamonds in the Pink is layered on a pink scalloped circle, then centered on heathery grey cardstock. A 6″ square white mat was added, then framed behind glass in a white 8″ square frame.
Display out of direct sunlight and this framed handstitching can be enjoyed for years to come!
